Two new OCEA vessels shipped for Nigeria

December 2020

OCEA continues to deliver C-Falcon and FPB 110 vessels to the Nigerian Navy.

Two new OCEA vessels were loaded on a cargo ship on December 1, 2020.

In addition to the delivery in November of one FPB 110 - P193 - NNS SOKOTO and one C-Falcon - P 272, these two new vessels will be delivered to the Nigerian Navy by the end of December in Lagos: FPB 110 - P194 - NNS ABA and C-Falcon - P271.

Over 8 years the Nigerian Navy has already taken delivery of further OCEA vessels: one OCEA FPB 98 MKI, eight OCEA FPB 72 MKII and two OCEA FPB 110 MKII. Then OCEA won three tenders for two additional OCEA FPB 110, one OCEA OSV 190 SC-WB and four OCEA C-FALCON Interceptors.

By the end of December, a new hydrographic research vessel OCEA OSV 190 SC-WB, named NNS LANA, will also be delivered in Lagos to the Nigerian Navy.
