OCEA FPB 72 MKII “GONGOLA” and “CALABAR” loaded for their transport to NIGERIA

GONGOLA(P189) and CALABAR (P190) are the sister ships of the BADAGRY, BOMADI, OKPOKU already operated by the Nigerian Navy since 2012 and SHIRORO and OSE delivered to the Nigerian Navy in 2017.

 

 

 

Those Fast Patrol Boats are designed to ensure all typical coast guard missions such as:

 

  • patrol, control and surveillance of territorial waters,
  • enforcement of laws and treaties at sea;
  • fight against piracy and illegal activities: smuggling, crimes, illegal immigration and illegal fishing activities;
  • search and rescue.
